AquaSensing was founded in 2019 at the University of Waterloo with the goal of making leak-sensing more environmentally friendly.

 

In 2021, we released our flagship product, the Leak Detector 1.0, the first battery-free water leak detector on the market. We also explore other applications of our moisture sensor technology, including healthcare and wearables.

Our founders have experience starting and scaling successful companies and have published hundreds of papers and authored dozens of patents. The team currently consists of over a dozen technical developers and is growing fast. We have engineering experience across Canada, the US and China.
